- Auditions will be cold readings from the script, but if you wish to prepare a monologue of no more than 2 minutes, the director will be pleased.
- Bring a theatrical experience resume if you have one.
- After filling out some form or another, you meet the Director and some of the Island Community Theatre staff. Savor this moment.
- You will then be paired with one or more other people auditioning and be asked to read the assigned parts. We will praise you.
- Don't believe a word. You're doomed.
- Quite often, each person auditioning will be asked to go through this process with several different partners during the audition period. No, that doesn't sound tedious, at all! Deal.
- Dating, quite often, ensues.
| Rehearsals & Performances |
Rehearsals are normally held from 7pm to 10:30pm Monday through Thursday starting shortly after auditions and lasting until opening night.
- We rehearse at our super-secret underground theater lair, which inexplicably has well-lit, free parking. If you are cast in The Pink Panther Strikes Again, we reveal the location to you. Your life, as you now know it, changes at this point.
- Please make note of any potential conflicts you may have during the normal rehearsal schedule and note them on your audition form.
- Seriously, you must not have any conflicts with any of the performance and cast call times.
- Performances for ICT productions are Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm and Sunday at 1:30pm. Cast call for performances is 1 hour prior to the performance time.
- We throw really, really, really good cast parties, too. After all, to quote the good Dr. Hunter Thompson, we're professionals. Um ... right.

WE HAVE YOUR FIX.
Island Community Theatre is freaky, funky,
laid-back and has been around since 1998.
We successfully do plays that have been made into movies, and vice-versa. We're "movie generation" kids who love doing live theater.
